    the new track into Philosopher Falls. Travel south from Waratah towards Savage River and turn right into Butlers Road at 10K. Allow about an hour for the return walk to the viewing platform. Fungi and giant Myrtles are a feature of the walk. The Whyte Hill Lookout is a further 1K further towards Savage River and provides panoramic views over North Western Tasmania.
