    Looking at daily Stock Market prices.
    At mid-day the Stockbrokers agent in Kalgoorlie would post the latest share prices of nickel and gold mine stocks; this information would have been telexed up from Perth City. The young man second from left in pale blue shirt is John Hocking.
    John worked with us on Nickel exploration for Inco. His father Jack Hocking at the time owned and edited the only newspaper in Kalgoorlie; the famous Kalgoorlie Miner. Not sure if John joined his father later
