I took this photograph of Boniah Creek back in 1958 as a colour slide I only found this week. (30/7/16) Amazing how well the colour remains.
I have many memories of times spent at this creek and the surrounding bushland, from family yabbying picnics,Church Night time" Chop picnics" (was that burnt chop, or an ember from the fire I chomped on?) Boy scout camps, and bike rides out to Boniah for boys only swims, as there was no swimming pool in our home town Peterborough. Some time in October, I hope to return, maybe see some wild life/birds.
