Franklyn is an operating sheep station. Although only 20 kilometres off the Barrier Highway it feels like the real outback. The scrub is full of kangaroos and emus and sunset and sunrise bring out all the red of the soil and the blues of the distant ranges.
This picture is also part of the Bonzle Sunrise (open in new window) photo collection.
This picture was uploaded into the Bonzle Digital Atlas of Australia entry for the Homestead 'Franklyn'.
