Interior view of the storeroom at Charleville Motor & Engineering Works Ltd., ca. 1929

contributed by QldPics, taken in 1929
(contact QldPics about this picture)

Workers are pictured with the manager, Alfred Calcino, behind the counter in the storeroom. Stock items are visible on the shelves behind the counter. Several posters hang in front of the counter and a bicycle is leaning against one end of the counter.

The Calcinos had a long history in the town with Charleville Motors and later with a furniture shop called, possibly the "Charleville Furniture Store" opposite the Catholic Church and the State School. (Thanks to 'Beilby' for the updated description).

This picture is also part of the Bonzle Churches (open in new window) photo collection.
