The Aerial tramway can be seen crossing the Brisbane River on Cressbrook Station. The original patorilist John and David McConnel farmed the land and ran beef cattle. Later they established a condensed milk factory in the area. The original homestead at Cressbrook is still standing, and is still owned by the McConnel family, the fourth generation of ownership.
