Adolphus Henry Everhard Barton, Member for the Legislative Assembly Carnarvon, ca. 1905

Adolphus Barton arrived in Victoria in 1854 and came to Stanthorpe in 1874 where he worked as a stock and station agent. Later he was the Licencee of Farley's Hotel. He was elected to parliament as MLA for Carnarvon and served a period from 27 August 1904 to 11 May 1907. (Description supplied with photograph)
