Band Sargeant Beard of the 13th Australian Light Horse Queensland Mounted Infantry. His horse, Paddy, was previously owned by the notorious bushranger, Paddy Kenniff, the last bushranger hanged at Boggo Road Jail. (Description supplied with photograph.)
