The Antigua Bridge showing new girders erected outside the original girders 150' span and the method of cutting up the old girders to remove them. This was done without interruption to railway traffic. This photograph shows the original girder installed in 1895-1896 and the new Pratt girder installed in 1916-1917. The travelling gantry used in the erection of the new girders can also be seen. (Description supplied with photograph.)
