Wheeler home on Sherwood Road, Toowong, ca. 1920

Dr. J. A. Weeler's timber home, which was demolished for Woolworth's car park in 1980. The home has a pitched corrugated iron roof with stepped wrap-around verandah. Verandah posts have decorative brackets with a two-rail balustrade enclosing the steps leading to the front door. A paling fence with a feature white picket gate marks the front boundary.
