Blackheath Girls College (Presbyterian/Methodist) was a Day and Boarding School in Stubley Street, Charters Towers. When Thornborough College was redeveloped, the Girls moved to Thornborough (Co-ed) annd the Boys College changed it's name to Blackthorn College. It's main gate faces into King Street.

The Blackheaath premises were used as a gym and aerobics centre for a number of years until the building was destroyed by fire.
