De Havilland Moth had a Cirrus engine. The Qantas (Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services) airways fleet purchased four of these planes in 1926 - 27 and opened flying schools in Longreach and Brisbane. In 1929 the Brisbane school was passed to the Queensland Aero Club with Qantas continuing to provide instruction and maintenance for the club.
