Horseshoe Vale Homestead was built in 1907 by builder G Weyland for Mr & Mrs. George Bond and their 9 children. Mr Bond was a selector and originally bred horses for the Australian Lighthorse brigade. After WWI he was a pioneer of the dairy industry in Gippsland.
