The Navarre River in central Tasmania starts below Mount Rufus at an elevation of 1230m and ends at an elevation of 715m flowing into the River Derwent.

The Navarre River drops around 515m over its 14.9km length.

The Navarre River flows into Lake King William (721m) on its way to joining the River Derwent.

The following creeks and rivers flow into the Navarre River: Little Navarre River and Coates Creek.
