The Florentine River in south Tasmania starts below Junction Hill at an elevation of 666m and ends at an elevation of 188m flowing into the River Derwent.
The Florentine River drops around 479m over its 65.4km length.
The Florentine River flows into Lake Catagunya (187m) on its way to joining the River Derwent.
