The Bredbo River in southeast New South Wales starts below Bald Mountain at an elevation of 1380m and ends at an elevation of 695m merging with the Murrumbidgee River.

The Bredbo River drops around 688m over its 52km length.

7 creeks and rivers flow into the Bredbo River. The five longest tributaries are: Strike A Light River, Cowra Creek, Birchams Creek, Cappanana Creek and Frogs Hole Creek - click here for a full list of all 7 tributaries of the Bredbo River.
