The Eucumbene River in south New South Wales starts below Shaw Hill at an elevation of 1380m and ends at an elevation of 900m merging with the Snowy River.

The Eucumbene River drops around 476m over its 83.6km length.

The Eucumbene River flows through Lake Eucumbene (1179m) and flows into Lake Jindabyne (902m) on its way to joining the Snowy River.
