The Queanbeyan River flows through New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and starts below Bald Mountain at an elevation of 1260m and ends at an elevation of 567m merging with the Molonglo River.

The Queanbeyan River drops around 697m over its 104km length.

The Queanbeyan River flows through Googong Reservoir (660m) on its way to joining the Molonglo River.
