The East Strelley River in north Western Australia starts below Falls Pound at an elevation of 204m and ends at an elevation of 16.8m merging with the De Grey River.

The East Strelley River drops around 187m over its 223km length.

The East Strelley River flows through Coonterunah Pool (133m) on its way to joining the De Grey River.

The following creeks and rivers flow into the East Strelley River: West Strelley River, Six Mile Creek, McPhee Creek and Spring Creek.
