The Plenty River in south Victoria starts near Humevale at an elevation of 247m and ends at an elevation of 19.6m merging with the Yarra River.
The Plenty River drops around 227m over its 46.8km length.
The Plenty River flows through Toorourrong Reservoir (244m) on its way to joining the Yarra River.
