Injinoo is a coastal village on the Cowal Creek in northwest Queensland situated about 1260km east of Darwin (show me) (the nearest capital city). Brisbane (show me), the capital of Queensland, is about 2150km south-southeast of Injinoo. Injinoo has a population of around 390 and is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Injinoo is at an elevation of approximately 20m above sea level. Injinoo is one of the northernmost villages in Australia.
