You'll find the locality of The Razorback just off the Diamantina Creek high up in the mountains in east Victoria. Nearby mountains include Little Mount Feathertop (1754m), Mount Feathertop (1903m), Mount Loch (1865m), Bon Accord Hill (1307m), Mount Niggerhead (1826m), Mount Hotham (1857m), Mount Jim (1787m) and Mount Higginbotham (1796m). The Razorback is about 220km east-northeast of Melbourne (show me). At about 1695m above sea level, The Razorback is the second highest locality in Victoria. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 130km south-southeast of The Razorback.

The Razorback is located within the Alpine National Park. There are 64 other localities within the Alpine National Park: Anglers Rest, Ballantyne Hills, Barry Mountains, Barstards Neck, Batty Spur, Beveridges Station, Blue Plains Spur, Blue Rag Range, Bogong High Plains, Brocket, Brumby Point, Bryce Plain, Buchan Tops, Buckety Plain, CRB Camp, Castle Rock, Cobbler Plateau, Dargo High Plains, Davies Plain Ridge, Dawson Ridge, Devils Hollow, Devils Staircase, Diamantina Horse Yards, Dinner Plain, Dunsmuir Huts, Flat Spur, Forlorn Hope Plain, Fraser Tableland, Gow Plain, Great Dividing Range, Great Dividing Range, Hanging Rock, Herne Spur, High Ridge, Hooker Plateau, Howitt Plains, Howittville, Jokers Flat, Lankey Plain, Long Spur, Lookout Rock, Louisville, Macalister Spur, Mayford, Mgs Camp, Minogues Lookout, Moroka Range, Mustering Flat, Rams Head Range, Raspberry Hill Camp Ground, Riggall Spur, Rocky Ridge, Rover Lodge, Ryders Yards (Campbells Yards), Sandy Flat, Six Mile Spur, Snowy Plain, Snowy Range, The Long Spur, The Long Spur, The Red Spur, Top Crossing, Willis and Wombat Spur.

The nearest more populous place is the village of Dinner Plain which is 15km away with a population of around 590 (show me a map with The Razorback and Dinner Plain).
