The Darling River in west New South Wales starts at an elevation of 119m and ends at an elevation of 35.3m merging with the Murray River.

The Darling River drops around 83.6m over its 1570km length.

The Darling River flows through Lake Wetherell (62m) and Pamamaroo Lake (61m) on its way to joining the Murray River.
