Basalt Hill is close to the village of Dinner Plain (16.5km away - show me), the town of Mount Beauty (20.5km away - show me) and the village of Tawonga (26.4km away - show me). The nearest sealed road to Basalt Hill is the Bogong High Plains Road (3.23km away).
