Alexandria is a suburb of south-southwest Sydney in east New South Wales and has a population of around 5,800 (52.8% male, 47.2% female). Around 1384 families live in the area and of those 25.2% have one or more children under the age of 15. 10.2% of families have only a single parent while 61.5% of couples have no children. Alexandria covers an area of approximately 381 hectares (941 acres).
