Watson is a suburb of north-northeast Canberra in the north of the Australian Capital Territory and has a population of around 4,200 (47.5% male, 52.5% female). Around 1087 families live in the area and of those 36.2% have one or more children under the age of 15. 16.5% of families have only a single parent while 45.7% of couples have no children. Watson covers an area of approximately 368 hectares (908 acres).
