The Rosa Mine is an abandoned open cut marble mine.1
The Rosa Mine is located just off the Burke Developmental Road in central Queensland a distance of about 1430km northwest from Brisbane (show me). The Rosa Mine is at an altitude of approximately 455m.

This marble quarry is above ground. Marble has pinkish tinges and siderite in some fractures. Composed of reef talus with large blocks up to 1m diameter.
