The Orana Mineral Occurrence is a limestone/carbonates mineral occurence.1
The Orana Mineral Occurrence is located on the Back Creek in southeast Queensland a distance of about 230km southwest from Brisbane (show me). The Orana Mineral Occurrence is at an altitude of about 410m above sea level. The Orana Mineral Occurrence is one of the southernmost mines in Queensland.

A number of limestone lenses crop out near orana homestead and form a belt of outcrops extending to the limestone hills deposit in the east. The limestone is light to dark grey and contains some fossil fragments and limestone breccia.
