View of the original Brisbane Grammar School in Roma Street, ca.1875. Prince Alfred laid the Foundation Stone on the 29th February, 1868 and the school was opened on the 1st february,1869. The building was designed by Benjamin Backhouse. It served as Railways Department Offices after 1881.
