Steam locomotive PB15 class, number 483 of a batch built by Kitson & Co. The locomotive arrived on the steamer 'Dorset' (ship) in February, 1909. This photograph was taken at the Mayne Locomotive Depot, Brisbane during the coal strike of 1946. Wood is being used as a fuel necessitating the spark arrester on the chimney.
