Rawlinna station located remotely 400kms east of Kalgoorlie in the Nullarbor region postcode 6434 currently the largest sheep station in the world managed by Michael Simmons and overseen by Dennis Nash carrying 23000 breeding ewes lambing 50to 90percent at lamb marking and shearing 70000 head on 10, 000sqkms(2,5million acres) of bluebush saltbush and scrub land plains owned and operated by jumbuck pastoral Co. Employing mostly young Australians and also backpackers from all around the world to help with mustering and yard work all year round and employing up to 15 staff over shearing and also a shearing crew of just around. 30 members in a 16 stand Shearing shed at poondana homestead near the centre of the property
